From the very beginning, the customer service is what made me confident about the process. It was my first time attending an Indian Islamic wedding and the glossary in the In’s and Outs section was very helpful in helping me understand the pieces. The collection was absolutely beautiful and I ended up selecting the Raven Black Sharara and my husband rented the Azul De Mar Kurta Pajama. The response I got at the event when I wore my Borrow It Bindaas items was that people thought I looked stunning! I felt beautiful and plus I wore the free headpiece that the team sent as a little gift with my package. The return process was very easy especially not having to fuss with return shipping costs. 

Overall, Borrow It Bindaas’ excellent customer service is what made the experience extraordinary. Sometimes she dazzles in a funky dress and other times she goes classy in a feminine gown. Yet this diva makes great style statements on the red carpet almost every time. She sure does have style and no one can challenge it! In this edition of Celebrity Spotlight, Borrow It Bindaas features the striking actress, Neha Dhupia!

Hard to believe but Neha doesn’t have a stylist to dress her at red carpet events or when she has to make public appearances! Her mother and friend, Chola tell her what works and what doesn’t!

Her favorite international designers are Paco Rabanne and Stella McCartney. She likes Victoria Beckham for the simple and clean cuts and Diane von Furstenberg because of the feminine clothes. Her favorite Indian designers include Masaba, Gaurav Gupta, Anamika Khanna, Sabyasachi Muckherjee, and Rohit Bal.

We love how innovative Neha is when it comes to mixing and matching! For example her lehenga look-skirt with a blazer! Or that one time when she wore a red Victoria Beckham dress and wore it again with an embellished jacked and Indian jewelry.

Neha’s must have accessories are shoes and sunglasses. She loves shoes from slippers to knee-length boots! She once also revealed that she couldn’t do without a watch! “I just can’t do without a big dial watch. Watches are my weakness. I love to hoard as many watches I can. And I feel a big dial black or white or chrome watch can instantly add oomph to a dull and simple look.” We can’t agree more with Neha’s statement!

Her fashion icons include Hollywood diva Audrey Hepburn and Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor. “I love Audrey Hepburn for her classic style and elegance. And in India it is Sonam Kapoor as she carries herself very well be it Indian wear or western vintage outfits that she accessories it with a quirk. I feel that I’m in a happy space now and I love it this way”.

You will tend to see Neha in white, black, and gray a lot. Those tend to be her favorite colors!

Neha also has plans to venture into fashion e-commerce, as she herself is an online shopping addict. She says, “I myself shop for shoes and clothes all the time from various sites and if I can get to see what the dress I wish to buy will look like on me in as good as a 3D avatar. What more can I ask for? It’s a boon for all of us e-shoppers.”

Since Neha is known to be one of the better dressed women in Bollywood and is usually spotted in desirable creations by top designers. She also has a large number of followers on Twitter, and these two factors were instrumental in Neha being chosen for Twitter face for Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week this past season!

She loves to wear what she feels comfortable in, yet she’s very fashionable. However she always looks different and takes risks while always getting it right!

A Japanese-themed teahouse with a total oriental feel! We love how the Chanel spring/summer 2013 collection is all about understated elegance, modest looks, femininity, and the signature styles of this legendary fashion house!

The Dior campaign’s imagery captures perfectly the fresh minimal chapter of the brand. The ads are pretty, light, and airy, just like their chiffon-adorned runway show. We love the floating flowers and panes of the blue sky!

Just like the collection, the campaign is very graphic, emphasizing lines, symmetry and color. The campaign is set against a black background that allows light and the color of the ocean filter in. The brand’s artistic director himself, Karl Lagerfeld shot the campaign!

Dazzling jewel tones and floral print brighten up this campaign. We love how it replaces the cool 90s glamour! Simple palette of singular colors used on the clothes and the silhouette shone through!

Hermes

The Hermes campaign is quite a delightful sporty life with Lake Como in the background. These ads are all about being active, while staying stylish, and that’s one message we love!

Louis Vuitton

This season Louis Vuitton is all about chessboard inspiration, which is such a visual treat! Pairs of lookalike models to coincide with the repetition of patterns shown in the spring season’s clothing.

Priyanka Chopra wore a black halter neck gown with gold embroidery by Arphan Vohra. This beauty added a Louis Vuitton black satin clutch, which also had a gold accent. Her side-swept curly locks and elegant poise really completed her look!

Ilena D’Cruz wore a Dolce & Gabbanna Fall 2004 gown while her partner for the evening; director Prabhu Deva came in dressed all-fly in a dapper navy blue suit.

Aditi Rao Hydari looked great in an orange strapless Gauri and Nainka gown and we loved the bright lip color on her!

Mr. & Mrs. Khan brought red to the red carpet! Gauri Khan was wearing a saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani.

Anushka Sharma looked different and picked an adventurous style in a Dior suit. She changed her outfits as she was hosting the ceremony and was seen in a Manish Malhotra saree and also a Gucci python print dress.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan both looked lovely in Indian attire. Aishwarya Rai was wearing an outfit from Sabyasachi Couture. And we also love Abishek’s traditional jacket!

Neha Dhupia also wore a lengha from Sabyasachi couture and looked absolutely gorgeous! A clutch from Pinky Saraf and green fan-syle earrings by Amrapali finished out her look. During the show she was seen wearing Anamika Khanna on stage performing.

Chitranda Singh wore a Resort 2013 Naeem Khan. Her white gown featured gold embroidery, which was so exquisite!

The cute and bubbly Zarine Khan looked marvelous in a blue gown with silver detailed work on the sleeves.

Nargis Fakhri shinned the red carpet by wearing a strapless Komal Sood gown. The thigh-high slit gown looked perfect on the red carpet. Pink lips and glossy cheekbones finished her look.

Mugda Godse wore a midnight blue Rajat Tangri gown. She looked like a beauty and kept her makeup light and accessories to a bare minimum.
