This Memoir was submitted to our team by one of our Bindaas members Priscilla…

I am very thankful for Borrow it Bindaas, as they were eager and willing to help me throughout my entire rental process. I had never attended an Indian wedding, or worn a saree for that matter, so when my good friend invited me to his traditional Indian wedding I had many questions.
Luckily I stumbled upon BIB in a frenzied Internet search, and found their website comforting to say the least. Not only did they have suggestions for what to wear to weddings in an array of gorgeous colors, but I could rent a high-end saree without having to pay the full retail price. I decided to rent the Magnolias Forever Fancy Saree at only $50.00!  I spread the news to my other friends who were attending this wedding and we were all enamored to find that all four of us could dress to impress for a reasonable cost.
I felt extremely fortunate to be located near their headquarters, because for a small additional cost they even joined us at the wedding site and helped us drape our sarees. I was floored by their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Originally we had planned to change out of our sarees and into cocktail dresses for the reception. Wrapping six yards of fabric around myself was intimidating, and I thought I would want to be free as soon as possible. Well, that misconception faded fast. When the event came around we decided to keep flaunting our sarees all night long! They were so comfortable and we felt like goddesses wearing them, so none of us wanted to take them off.

I found the process simple enough, received my saree right on time and returned it just as easily. The compliments flowed as soon as we arrived, not only on our fashion forward and high quality sarees, but on the ingenious service I’d discovered. We felt dazzling and elegant, and certainly fit in with all the other beautiful sarees. I hope in the future I am asked to attend another Indian event, and when that happens I will know exactly where to go to look my best.
